Hi, Chris here.
I'm fortunate to have the support of thousands of fans worldwide, supporting the books I've already published, and pushing for the ones I have not yet written. The feeling is amazing, and I don't know that I'll ever really get used to it.
The road to this point was not an easy one. Naysayers, well-meaning friends of dubious publishing experience, and purely evil 'Agents' and 'Publishers' dogged The Blademage Saga from the very start. This process can, and does, weed out inferior works to some extent. That being said, there is a lot of unneeded suffering that happens along the way. No one was really there during the first steps I took into the world of writing, and it took its toll.
There is a better way. What I learned through painful trial and error, I can show you. Neither success, nor failure, is a guarantee in any business, with any coach. What I can offer you instead is an honest account of what has worked for me, what has not, and a breakdown of the reasons why, or why not. A fresh set of eyes on a work you hold dear, and are too close to edit responsibly. A sounding board for a strategy that you have not yet tried.
I have consulted for established, beginning, and aspiring authors, on a paid, and volunteer basis. I host an informal writer's group most Tuesdays at The Bellybuster Sandwich Shop. Those two hours, from 10am until Noon, double as free consultation hours. Anything you want to talk about. Editing, plot, marketing, formatting, you name it. You might have to share me with other authors, though.
My paid consultation rates are very competitive, and according to a few of my clients, too low. It's rewarding to receive this kind of feedback. It's more rewarding to help someone through their first publishing experience, and see the stress fade as their book goes live on Kindle.
Drop me an e-mail, swing by the shop. Let's see what we can do.
